School District No. 83 is current seeking : School District No. 83 is presently seeking Summer Workers School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) is looking for Custodians and Grounds workers to work throughout the district for the months of July and August. This is a temporary CUPE Position at an hourly rate of $21.54 per hour. THE DISTRICT In the North Okanagan-Shuswap School District, we serve just over 6700 students and 1200 staff in 24 through a variety of sites located around Shuswap Lake and the North Okanagan. Q ualifications required include : Minimum grade 10. Must be able to perform custodial duties including lifting heavy objects with the ability to perform cleaning and minor maintenance. Or be able to operate all mowing machinery and all other equipment necessary for site maintenance. Expected duties under supervision : general cleaning duties, general grounds keeping, general trades support and cleanup.
