Position :  Hair Stylist

Compensation : Competitive, based on experience

We provide a supportive and professional environment where stylists can grow their craft and clientele. We are currently looking to add a passionate and skilled Hair Stylist to our team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, treatments, and consultations

Maintain a clean and professional work environment in accordance with salon standards

Build and retain a loyal clientele through outstanding service and communication

Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge

Collaborate with fellow stylists and management to ensure a positive team dynamic

Maintain product inventory and make recommendations to clients

Uphold Tress Lounge's brand and service excellence in all client interactions

Qualifications :

Senior Stylist Candidates :

Minimum 3 years of salon experience preferred

Proven ability to manage a consistent clientele

Strong portfolio of cuts, colours, and treatments

Confident in training or mentoring junior staff (as applicable)

Junior Stylist Candidates :

Licensed hairstylist (completed cosmetology program or apprenticeship)

Some salon floor experience is an asset, but not required

Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced professional setting

Great attitude and strong customer service skills

Compensation :

We offer a flexible compensation model depending on experience :

Revenue-based model (commission split) for stylists with an established clientele or strong sales skills

Base salary + performance incentives available for newer stylists or those looking for stable income while building clientele
