Job Responsibilities
Lincoln Electric Automation is responsible for providing engineered solutions, integrated systems, and technical support to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing sales efforts specifically focused upon Mechanized (Hard) Automation and Robotic Weld Solutions.
The Department is further responsible for the provision of technical support to direct end-user customers for service / maintenance contracts and warrantee related solutions, as well as, troubleshooting and problem solving with respect to customer issues.
Lincoln Electric Automation is expected to deliver results while contributing to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing business activities and priorities, as well as, meeting internal and external customer requirements in a timely, discreet and ethical manner.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Mechanical design / changes
- Work with Design Engineers, technicians and assemblers on a daily basis
- Cost analysis and cost reduction projects & ideas
- Analysis / rationalization of manufacturing process
- Generating production drawings / Generating required documentation
- Generating electrical schematics
- New product / machine implementation in production
- Writing manuals for customized products
- Working with the CSA authorities to get the products certified
- Managing inventory & creating the Bill of Materials for projects
- Other duties as assigned by Design Engineers or Welding Application& Quotation Engineering Specialist
