JOB SUMMARY :
The Senior Business Advisor assists in leading the development of strategic policy for SaskPower, as well as augmenting the development of corporate strategy. This includes the need to consider the broader public policy implications of electricity within Saskatchewan in cooperation with Executive Government and Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan. The Senior Business Advisor is also accountable to provide leadership and direction to a portfolio of projects or work functions. As a member of SaskPower’s management team, this position is responsible for the effective utilization of people, material, financial resources and human capital in order to manage, coordinate and lead major projects / departmental work functions from start to finish; ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate strategic goals and objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, as well as support executive leadership and stakeholders in developing strategic policy.
- Lead and participate in projects and initiatives identifying current and future business needs, industry best practices, opportunities, and challenges.
- Develop, organize, and deliver presentations, reports, and briefings for internal and external audiences.
Provide leadership and direction to project personnel, including SaskPower and contract employees on project(s) and major business initiatives
