About the Position
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and energetic Server to join our team. Working at The Berkeley, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks. Our goal is to make sure our residents have the best dining experience possible, and that starts with you.

Must be open to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Greet residents promptly
Stay up-to-date on the latest menu offerings to answer resident questions and provide recommendations as needed
Take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to special requests and dietary restrictions
Deliver food from the kitchen to the table in a safe and timely manner
Assist residents as needed, checking in with them frequently to ensure their experience is satisfactory
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation requirements
Ensure serving areas, dining room, dishes, floors, etc. are clean and set to specific standards
Ensure all standards of sanitation are adhered to
Follow all health and safety legislation as it relates to the dining room and food service
Requirements
Friendly, customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience as a server preferred but not required
Superb organizational and multitasking skills
Be willing to assist with other duties as needed
Empathy for, and an understanding of older adults, aging in place and cognitive impairment
Positive attitude and the ability to build relationships
