Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Community Staff Nurse to join the Mid & Upper Nithsdale Community Nursing Team in delivering quality nursing care to housebound patients 24 hrs per day.

This is a fixed term post for 9 months from 9 February 2026 until 8 November 2026.

Role Summary

As part of this role, you will be working within an ever changing environment, alongside colleagues in the multidisciplinary Home Team, including Allied Health Professionals, Social Services & Public Health Improvement. The Home Team is integral to our Health and Social Care Partnership.

This post will involve clinic and home visits in remote and rural areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to housebound patients 24 hrs per day
• Work within the multidisciplinary Home Team, including Allied Health Professionals, Social Services & Public Health Improvement
• Perform clinic and home visits in remote and rural areas
