Job Description

Unify Health's Cardiology program is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Echocardiographer to join our team on a part-time / casual basis.

Requirements :

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited program in Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography / Adult Echocardiography eg. Mohawk College or Equivalent. - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) / Sonography Canada certification in adult Echocardiography (CARDUP or ARDMS).
Current BLS / CPR Certificate required.

Responsibilities :

Performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms with a cardiovascular technologist under the supervision of a cardiologist.

Providing optimum quality diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis and or treatment.

Experience with Philips Affiniti ultrasound machine and Cerebrum reporting system are an asset.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.

Work Schedule :

The position offers evening scanning from 4 : 30PM to 830PM M-Thursday and / or Saturday from 8AM to 5PM

Preferred Skills :

While not a necessity, experience in IV insertion and use of Definity contrast is an asset.

Salary Range :

We offer a very competitive pay range for this position, depending on qualifications and experience.
