Responsibilities:

  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Create and implement personalized, evidence-based therapy plans that cater to each client’s unique needs.

  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic and integrated care.

  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure meticulous and up-to-date client records, adhering to all regulatory standards.

  • Engage in Continuous Learning: Stay ahead in your field by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

  • Educate and Empower Clients: Provide clients and their families with effective strategies to support communication and swallowing functions, enhancing their quality of life.

Job Qualification

Education and Experience:

  • Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists required.

  • Three years’ experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services preferred.

  • Experience completing in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal system is an asset particularly medical/legal report writing.

  • Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong communication (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency with secure email. Valid driver’s license.
