With a staff of 14,000, the TCDSB is a dynamic school board and is seeking Supply Education Assistants. The Board maintains a roster of temporary / casual staff for assignments to cover employee absences. Supply staff are assigned from a pool on an as-needed basis.

The primary function of this position is to provide assistance to students in the areas of spiritual, education, social, behavioural and physical needs. The position will often require heavy lifting.

Requirements

The daily rate of pay is $ Working hours are 6 hours and 40 minutes per day, excluding unpaid lunch break.

As a condition of employment with the TCDSB , successful candidates will be required to submit a current original Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) prior to commencing employment. Candidates are not advised to obtain this document prior to an offer of employment. Human Resources will advise you to complete a VSS if you are successful through the selection process and the cost of the VSS is the responsibility of the candidate.
