Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide front-end customer service and handle customer inquiries.

Answer department phone calls and direct customer inquiries as required.

Participate in safety meetings and manage safety clerical functions.

Set up Agro meetings and Appreciation functions.

Perform daily cash ups.

Perform online receiving and invoicing for farm equipment, fertilizers seed and chemical.

Perform inventory and customer management functions.

Perform a monthly physical count of all inventories.

Ability to navigate customer financing systems.

Ensure cleanliness and professional store image is maintained.

Create signage for merchandise.

Chemical sales reporting and verification.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ability to interact with guests in person, by email and on the telephone
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. may be required
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Sound planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Ability to quick review reports and identify irregularities and discrepancies.
  • Previous office experience considered an asset.
  • Previous agriculture background or industry experience is considered an asset.

Must be bondable.
