SALES MANAGER – Software SolutionsThe purpose of this role is to drive the sales efforts for our geological software solutions, including offerings from our industry-leading partner Datarock by leveraging expertise and energy to foster growth and ensure customer success. This position reports directly to the General Manager, North & Central America and maintains a collaborative reporting relationship with the Global Commercial Officer – Software Solutions. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of our company’s presence within the mining industry. This role involves identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and promoting the adoption of our software and Datarock’s complete offering including the core photography platform and consulting expertise from the Applied Science team. This role is full-time, North America based position, requiring some travel to various mining sites and industry conferences.ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTED OUTCOMESSupport the development and execution of the company’s sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.With the support of the regional management team, discover new opportunities for IMDEX’s Software solutions and Datarock offerings and work with the customer to explore and build a business case for investment in IMDEX’s and Leading Partners solutions.Understand customer needs and requirements and demonstrate how our software and Datarock’s platform and solutions addresses those needs.Actively liaise with the Datarock technical specialists and delivery teams to ensure that the sales process is streamlined and effective.Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure timelines and deliverables align with client expectations, optimizing customer satisfaction and repeat business.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients in the mining sector. Develop and implement regional relationship management plans for complex existing customer accounts.Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to ensure customer feedback is being utilised for continuous improvement.Represent our company and Datarock at industry events and conferences, promoting our Geological software solutions.Prepare sales reports and analyses to track sales performance and inform future strategy.Develop and manage customer relationships of regular accounts in the region for Software Solutions.Coordinate with the marketing team to develop industry-specific promotional materials and Software Campaigns for NAM.Maintain and develop the customer pipeline and monitor activity and reporting using technology in accordance with the pipeline recognition rules and maintain activity within IMDEX’s Salesforce CRM solution.LEADERSHIP AND PEOPLERegularly challenges peers or superiors when the situation arises.
