Join our Group Benefits Engineering Team!

Collaborating within our squads; QA Engineer develops automation scripts and implements testing in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and test solutions.
  • Manual testing on an as-needed basis but primarily handle automation testing on a day-to-day basis.
  • Objective is to improve the software development process by identifying defects early and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Create and implement automated tests from scratch, analyze results, report defects, progress and status, and maintain records of history of testing.
  • Work with software developers, product managers, and other partners from a very early stage of product development to understand requirements, foresee issues, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Contribute and show proactive initiatives to improve existing test processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and throughput.
  • Build and maintain detailed test scripts, test cases, test plans, and test reports.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior testers and seamlessly share knowledge with other teams to avoid duplication of work.
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Additional preference / experience such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server.
  • Test automation development : Expertise in Selenium, TestNG framework, Java, API testing, Database testing knowledge, UI automation.
  • Experience in tools : Eclipse, Postman, SOAP, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins.

    Primary Location : Waterloo, Ontario

    Working Arrangement : Hybrid

    Salary range is expected to be between : $75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
