Assignment Description
Key Responsibilities
- Leadprojectsfrominitiationtocompletion,ensuringprojectsaredeliveredsafely,on time, and within budget;
- Developandmanageprojectscopes,schedules,andbudgets,includingregular reporting to NL Hydro leadership;
- Overseeandreviewtenderpackages,participateincontractevaluationandaward processes, ensuring quality and value for NL Hydro;
- Manageprojectteams,includinginternalengineers,contractors,andconsultants,to achieve project objectives;
- Conductregularsitevisitstomonitorconstructionactivities,verifyprojectprogress,and provide support to site teams;
- Identify,evaluate,andmitigateprojectrisks,andmaintaintheprojectriskregister throughout the project lifecycle;
- Facilitateeffectivecommunicationacrossstakeholders,ensuringthatapprovedproject changes are reflected in the active budget and schedule;
- EnsurecontractorcompliancewithNLHydro’sContractorSafetyManagementPlanand corporate and Contractor HSE policies;
- Leadprojectcloseoutactivities,ensuringsmoothtransitionofcompletedassetsto operations;
- Promotecontinualimprovementthroughlessonslearned,innovativeapproaches,and sharing best practices with other project teams;
- SubmittimesheetsanddocumentationinaccordancewithNLHydro’sproject management requirements;
- Otherdutiesas assigned.
