Job descriptionProven Startup & VC-Backed Experience : 10+ years in software development with 3–5 years in engineering management. Must have a proven track record scaling teams in high-growth, venture-funded environments (Series A / B). Hands-On Leader & Builder : Demonstrated success as a top individual contributor who transitioned into leadership—actively architecting and coding critical components while scaling teams. Technical Expertise : Strong full-stack development skills using TypeScript, Vue.js, and Node.js, with hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Redis). Flexibility to adapt to evolving tech stacks and emerging AI solutions is highly desirable. AI / Data-Driven Solutions : Experience or exposure to building AI, machine learning, or data pipeline solutions is a plus, with an ability to leverage data for product innovation. We are a fast-growing, AI-driven startup dedicated to transforming customer conversations into actionable insights and revolutionizing sales tools with enterprise-grade solutions. Backed by venture capital, we thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment where a builder mindset and hands-on leadership are key to our success. As we scale our platform, we're seeking an entrepreneurial engineering leader to grow our engineering team from 15 to 50 engineers and drive innovation across our technology stack.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and Expand the Engineering Team :
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performance engineering team from 15 to 50 members in a VC-backed, fast-growing startup environment.
- Drive Technical Strategy and Execution :
- Architect, code, and guide the development of scalable, AI-driven, and data-centric solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive revenue.
- Champion Engineering Excellence :
- Establish robust engineering processes, define and track SLOs / SLAs, manage risks, and implement best practices in monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally :
- Work closely with product, design, and data teams to align technical strategies with business goals and foster a culture of innovation.
- Foster Continuous Improvement :
- Promote a culture of rapid iteration, learning, and collaboration that maintains our competitive edge and adapts to emerging AI-centric technologies.
