Mativ Renfrew is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve plant operations through process optimization, equipment reliability, and project execution. This role plays a key part in driving efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction across the site.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Optimizing manufacturing processes to improve quality and reduce costs
• Troubleshooting daily production issues and implement process improvements
• Supportingand overseeing preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
• Leading and executing capital projects (budgeting, installation, commissioning)
• Ensuring compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards
• Collaborating with Operations and R&D on process and product development
• Providing technical guidance and training to plant staff

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering program
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
• Experience with maintenance systems and capital projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD and PLC experience are assets
