Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Plex requirements pertaining to the quality system are accurate and up to date
  • Ensure all Legal Employment Due Diligence Compliance requirements are met
  • Conduct and lead Quality System Audits in compliance with the requirements ofIATF and other customer specific requirements
  • Internal Quality Audits of all Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, as outlined in Marwood Quality Manuals
  • Issue Supplier Non-Conformance Reports and follow up on countermeasure completion
  • Conduct and lead supplier/vendor audits in both existing countermeasure follow up (CARs) as well as new vendor onboarding in compliance with the QMS
  • Conduct customer specific audits with the responsible AQS team during pre/mass production activities
  • Develop and conduct training on check fixture and gauge use, welding consumable conditions, Marwood quality systems, and customer audit results
  • Management of external sorting and containment service suppliers for work approvals and payment
  • Assist in development of robust APQP activities
  • Review LPA findings and develop trend analysis of non-conforming areas with corrective actions
  • Review quality for divisions including sort, safe launch and scrap coinciding with KPI for each and develop countermeasures to eliminate waste processes
  • Provide communication to customer base in any corporate quality related events
  • Coordination and scheduling of all lab functions (cut and etch, metallurgical, CMM/Scanner measurements, gauge repair and calibration) to fulfill customer and Marwood requirements with program management, AQS, engineering, maintenance, and production is completed on time
  • Ensure employee evaluations and performance appraisals are completed
  • Ensure employee time clock records and vacation time is accurate and correct via Plex system
  • Assist other Managers on projects as required
  • All other relevant tasks as assigned

Key Requirements:

  • University or College Graduate in Engineering Science/Quality Program
  • Grade 12, GED, or equivalent

Additional Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Computer literacy - Moderate level of proficiency with standard email, spreadsheet and word-processing software (Outlook, Excel, Word), and Plex
  • Successful completion of recognized Internal Quality Auditing Program
  • Computer/administration efficiency skills in all required areas
  • Quality Audit and Testing Program completion
  • Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) development and documentation completion
  • Gauge and Fixture Control Program completion
