Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced person to provide Respite to a male individual with developmental disabilities. Our client enjoys sports and is very active.  He enjoys snowshoeing, walking, or biking. He loves table / card games. Enjoys watching animal / nature videos, watching TV for sports events.

We are only looking for someone who lives in the SW near or around Canyon Meadows! We would like the candidate to be a Non-smoker, preferably no kids and he does like pets.

Start date : Immediately. It will be 1 weekend a month from Friday - Sunday in your home.

Respite Rate is $139.76 for a 24 shift.

Requirements :

• A diploma or equivalent formal education in Rehabilitation Services, Social Services;
• 2-year experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities.
• A valid First Aid / CPR and Medication Administration certificate are required.
• A current police clearance check is REQUIRED UPON INTERVIEW.
• The candidate must drive and have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
