Reporting to the Shellbrook C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Provide in-store service; serve guests, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company and government policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility of the selling of age restricted items such as lottery, tobacco, liquor.
• Ensure a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency.
• Have a good working understanding of the POS system.
• Receive, price and display merchandise as required specified by the team leader.
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
• Position is primarily based in the C-Store/Gas Bar, with cross-support in the Wine, Spirits, and Beer department as needed.
• Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
• You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
• You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
• You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
• You must be 19 years of age or older
• You must be willing and able to obtain your Serve it Right certification
