In Your Role You Will

• Support youth to reach their goals by implementing individualized service plans (ISPs).
• Assist the youth with daily living activities and provide life skills training for the youth such as meal preparation, housekeeping, personal care skills and personal finance
• Transport the youth to and attend / participate in scheduled activities, appointments, shopping or leisure activities
• Housekeeping duties (May include cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, cleaning floors, mowing lawns, grocery shopping, cleaning equipment and food preparation) or assist youth to complete these tasks, etc.
• Provide emotional support and feedback to youth and their families.
• Administer medication or first aid as required and according to policy / procedure
• Recognize, analyze, and deal with potential emergency situations such as aggressive behavior according to their Behaviour Safety Plan to ensure no harm comes to them or the public.
• With the team, participate in assessing and planning for individuals in program; document, implement and contribute to program evaluation.
• Assist with case management, maintain reports such as statistics, logs and daily activities relating to youth.
