of Duties
Use voice recognition software to paraphrase, summarize and revoice the audio content of programs or program segments in real time.
Switch captioning sources for live presentation. Report any issues with caption presentation to broadcast and technical maintenance staff.
Create and maintain a personal voice profile within the voice recognition software.
Adapt dialogue to the language of broadcast in line with closed-captioning standards.
Report errors and technical issues.
Share technical expertise and best practices with other respeakers.
Assist in development of work tools.

Train other employees on captioning duties and techniques, providing them with all relevant information.
Perform captioner duties.
Carry out all other related tasks as required.

Solid command of French (working language).
Strong computer proficiency.
Knowledge of the other official language.
Wide general knowledge.
Knowledge of current events.
