As a Logistics Coordinator, you are able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and multi‑task with ease. Responsibilities
- Schedule, assign, and dispatch driver for delivery, pickup, or disposal
- Validate material / equipment and order picklist availability
- Ensure warehouse is organized to support receiving, storing, and shipments of product
- Maintain manhours per logistic vehicles and equipment for payroll allocation
- Identify damaged, obsolete, or excess products / equipment / tools and arrange for disposal or sale
- Loading inventory and equipment on trucks for delivery to job‑sites
- Lead and provide year end physical inventory count
- Provide information regarding inventory levels in the warehouse
- Monitor fuel consumption of each vehicle or equipment
- Ensure material / equipment / tools have been processed and recorded prior to leaving warehouse
- Assist in audits for equipment / tools
- Monitor material / equipment / tool returns
- Stock materials in the yard and warehouse
- Ensure tasks conducted by drivers and yard men are completed with Health & Safety at the forefront of all activities
- Provide service and support to other departments
- Process material purchase orders in system
- Coordinate rental of equipment
- Verify the delivery of materials entering the warehouse and matching the PO
- Learn about roofing materials
- Perform other duties as required
- All other duties assigned
