MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a ServiceNow Lead Developer for a 3 month contract role (with possibility of extension)  with a client of ours located in Victoria. This position can work fully remote anywhere in Canada.

ServiceNow Lead Developer

The ServiceNow Lead Developer / Architect is required to have the following skills and experience :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.

Proven experience in developing and configuring complex ServiceNow projects.

Previous experience in leading and managing complex ServiceNow solution development.

In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, especially Security Operations and IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Experience working with end users to derive requirements, understand their issues, and provide effective resolutions.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and other web development technologies.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and security model.

Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.

Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, IRE, and the CMDB health and remediation rules

Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.

Client Interaction :

Strong competence in working directly with end users to understand their requirements, issues, and objectives.

Proven ability to analyze end user problems and work through resolutions effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact with end users and stakeholders at all levels.

Leadership Skills :

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

In addition to the skills and experience set out above, the Proponents should demonstrate that the proposed Consultant(s) have the following additional skills and experience :

Soft Skills :

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Certifications :

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., SecOps, ITOM, ITSM, ITAM) are a plus.
