What You Will Do :

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the electrical service team, including electricians and technicians.
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of all electrical service jobs, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and job costing to ensure profitable service operations.
  • Enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment, adhering to industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, time sheets, and project reports, providing regular updates to upper management.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Identify training needs within the team and implement programs to enhance technical skills and professional growth.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to grow the electrical service division, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding service offerings.
  • Coordinate and manage the team’s response to electrical emergencies or urgent service calls, ensuring 24 / 7 availability as needed.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Promote energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices in electrical services to support the company’s environmental goals.
  • Stay updated on local, state, and national electrical codes and ensure all services comply with the latest regulations and standards.
  • What You Will Bring :

  • Certifications in service management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or Six Sigma).
  • 5+ years of experience in service management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in managing teams, customer service, and operations.
  • Background in the relevant industry (e.g., technical services, low voltage systems, automotive, etc.).
  • Skills :

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proficient in project management and service delivery best practices.
