The City of Medicine Hat is hiring Hospitality Worker II's to support food and beverage service at our premier facilities. This casual, event-based role is perfect for outgoing, reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team to create outstanding guest experiences.
This recruitment will be used to fill current vacancies and to establish a talent pool of qualified candidates who may be considered for future opportunities as they arise.
The successful candidates will be flexible and be available to work a casual schedule, including evening and weekend shifts.
Hospitality Worker II
As a Hospitality Worker II, you'll serve alcohol, handle cash transactions, and provide mentorship to Hospitality Worker I team members. Your professionalism and customer service sets the tone for every guest interaction.
Possible Roles
- Concession Cashier : Process guest orders and cash / credit transactions; serve food and alcohol according to AGLC regulations.
- Premium Seating Server : Deliver alcohol, food, and drinks to premium guests (Suites, Loges, VIP areas) and cash handling.
- Bartender : Serve alcoholic beverages while managing setup, stocking, and cash handling.
- Porter : Transfer products from storage to service areas, assist with restocking and setup, and ensure accurate inventory.
- Kitchen / Concession Cook : Prepare, cook, and plate food items according to AHS food handling standards and event demands.
