The Role

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager who can help us develop and lead our content strategy—with a heavy emphasis on video . You'll be our main point person for all things video content, helping us tell our story and build trust with business owners across the country.

This role blends strategy and execution. From shaping the editorial calendar to filming short-form clips to evaluating campaign success—you're in the driver's seat. Think of it as a mini media company inside a marketing agency. To start, you'll lead our internal content marketing (not client content).

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the content strategy (primarily video-based) across platforms, including YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
  • Plan and oversee the production of 3 short-form videos per week and 2 long-form per month (flexible based on your input)
  • Lead video creation efforts : planning, scripting, filming (occasionally on-site as you see fit), and editing
  • Monitor organic performance and propose changes to improve reach, traffic, and lead quality
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure video supports broader agency goals and aligns with client-facing messaging
  • Establish processes, timelines, and documentation to scale content efforts
  • Serve as our thought leader’s partner in clarifying, shaping, and sharing their vision

Key Outcomes

  • Primary KPI : Increase qualified web traffic from LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts
  • Secondary KPI : Generate inbound leads from video content
  • Tertiary KPI : Meet agreed-upon deliverables consistently and sustainably
  • Ideal Qualifications

    We care more about mindset and output than resumes—but here’s what would set you up for success :

    Must-Haves :

  • Experience planning, shooting, and editing video content
  • Strong sense of narrative and storytelling in a brand / business context
  • Self-directed with excellent time management
  • Familiarity with tools like Asana, Notion, and Slack (or a willingness to learn)
  • Passion for helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses through great content
  • Nice-to-Haves :

  • Portfolio of video work (any format welcome)
  • Experience marketing B2B or service-based businesses
  • Familiarity with YouTube SEO, LinkedIn content best practices
  • Background in startup, agency, or entrepreneurial environments

    Our goal is to build a content backlog by July 1st , then launch and iterate. This is a part-time contract role for now, but we’d love to transition the right person into full-time. Though, that's not necessary to work together. We're flexible, honest, and deeply committed to helping our team grow both professionally and personally.
