Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Analytics (PDS), this role focuses on supporting the organization’s data modernization and automation efforts by designing and building data products, contributing to data governance initiatives, and collaborating with technology and business partners.
What You Will Do
- Design and build automated data products — Develop automated and ad-hoc solutions that enable business units (including Finance, Collections and Compliance) efficiently access and analyze complex datasets. Utilize AI and other emerging technologies to enhance user experience and capabilities.
- Support data modernization strategy and roadmap execution — Support the execution of the data modernization and automation roadmap by contributing to solution development, documenting processes, and providing analytical insights to inform risk management and business operations.
- Support regulatory initiatives across the organization — Work closely with Governance, Process Effectiveness and Technology teams to develop and maintain regulatory monitoring frameworks.
- Collaborate with the broader data team — Collaborate with data scientists and junior analysts to apply data engineering best practices and emerging technologies to solve analytical and operational problems.
What You Will Need
3+ years of progressive experiencein data and analytics with demonstrated experience and solid technical background in data projects, preferably in a financial service/banking setting. University degree (undergraduate) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
Domain expertise in data solutionswith intermediate to advanced knowledge in one or more areas: AI-powered data products, business intelligence/reporting, data warehouse/data mart design, data strategy and transformation. Experience with solution design and data architecture required.
Strong technical foundationincluding proficiency with: Python, Google BigQuery, Apache Spark, SQL and relational databases, ETL technologies, Tableau, UML, data governance tools, metadata management platforms, and automation frameworks. Understanding of data science and advanced analytics concepts.
Experience in process automation, workflow optimization, or automated reportingto solve business problems. Experience with AI/ML applications including Generative AI and LLMs is highly desirable.
Excellent professional skillsincluding ability to communicate complex problems verbally, in writing, or via presentations; project management know-how with leadership and business acumen; highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilitiesto work effectively with multiple stakeholders, garner consensus, and build productive relationships across technical and business teams.
