In this role, you will be a part of the infrastructure team, of the Northern Engineering Sector , based in the Thunder Bay office .

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Prepare construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects and engineers.
• Coordinate project requirements and development of construction documents with subconsultants.
• Monitor the timeliness and quality of architectural technical document submissions to the Clients and other project stakeholders.
• Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance.
• Manage the preparation of all architectural technical document packages and related submittals related to planning, obtaining approvals, and specifications.
• Identify and manage project risks and associated mitigation measures.
• Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications.
• Support proposal stage on Projects, RFP’s Client Requests, etc.
• Lead the development of design alternatives using a variety of media, including computer visualization, and physical models.
• Ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Lead and / or participate in regular project meetings and ensure that stakeholders are well informed on project progress and best efforts are exerted in meeting their needs.
• Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients.
