Coquitlam School District invites applications from individuals for the position of Seasonal Painters. As the third largest school district in the province, we are located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The school district has a population of 32,000 students with approximately 4400 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.This position reports to the Manger of Maintenance and the Lead Hand Painter and completes painting tasks with minimum of supervision. Duties Include : Inside and outside painting tasks under minimum supervision. Operates and maintains painting equipment such as airless and conventional spray equipment, power washer, computer, brushes, rollers, etc. Qualifications include : Painting Trades Qualification Ticket (TQ) Recent related experience Proven ability to work with minimal supervision. A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License. The successful candidate works 40 hours per week (7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm). Rate of pay is $39.23 per hour + 16% in lieu of benefits. Effective July 01, 2024, the wage will be increased by 2.0%.
