Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Housekeeper who brings both polish and heart to the role - a true professional who knows how to maintain a private residence with the seamless grace of a five-star hotel, while keeping the warmth of a family home intact.

Based in Kelowna, BC, this full-time, live-out position is all about creating (and maintaining) order, cleanliness, and a sense of ease throughout the home. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every space feels welcoming, every corner organized, and every garment and linen cared for with the highest standard. These are not just boxes to tick here - they’re essential skills that you take pride in.

Your schedule will generally be Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (40 hours per week), with potential occasional evening support as needed. Flexibility is especially valued during family travel periods, when deeper cleaning and special household projects become the focus.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $55,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience and demonstrated performance
  
• Paid vacation and statutory holidays in accordance with BC employment standards
  
• Mileage reimbursement for errands, in line with employment standards
  

Candidate Profile:

Your talents extend well beyond a mop and dust cloth. You know the difference between laundering everyday clothes and caring for fine garments. You also have an amazing eye for detail and can even anticipate needs before they arise.

Discretion and trustworthiness are your calling cards. You can glide through a home with quiet efficiency, handling responsibilities independently while keeping open, clear communication with the principals.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and consistent, balancing professionalism with a warm, approachable presence. Prior private residence experience is a plus, but if you bring the right mix of skill, pride, and attitude, we’d love to meet you.

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily Housekeeping Excellence – Keep the home shining with daily care: dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and sparkling floors.
  
• Laundry & Garment Care – Wash, press, steam, and store clothing, linens, and fabrics with precision and respect for quality.
  
• Closet & Wardrobe Management – Maintain beautifully organized closets and assist with seasonal wardrobe transitions.
  
• Errands & Household Runs – Manage the essentials: groceries, dry cleaning, and supply runs to keep the household running seamlessly.
  
• Care of Furnishings & Surfaces – Ensure furniture, surfaces, and special items are cleaned and cared for appropriately.
  
• Organization & Deep Cleaning – Tackle household projects and seasonal deep cleans with a proactive eye for detail.
  
• Kitchen Support – Provide light meal preparation and assistance in the kitchen. An enthusiasm for cooking is a welcomed bonus.
  
• Household Oversight – Keep an eye on the little things that matter: from plant care to pool chemicals, and general upkeep.
  
• Family Support – Offer occasional childcare assistance, including evening babysitting, school drop-offs, or support with children’s routines when needed.
  

Applicant Qualities:

• Previous private residence housekeeping experience strongly preferred
  
• Excellent laundry and wardrobe care skills required
  
• Service-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused with strong organizational skills
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have own vehicle
  
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
