Automotive Detailer - Summer Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team at ReCar Fredericton as an Automotive Detailer for the summer season. We pride ourselves on providing the finest automotive experiences to our customers.

ReCar, an Atlantic Canadian company headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is part of Shift Auto Group. Our fundamental principles are integrity and treating people with respect. Shift Auto Group consists of Fredericton Kia, Miramichi Kia, Fredericton Mitsubishi, Volvo Cars New Brunswick, 5 ReCar locations, St Croix Auto, Velocity Auto Body, and 10 Wonder Auto locations.

As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning, polishing, and detailing vehicles to our high standards. You will ensure each vehicle looks its best and meets customer expectations.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

Washing and cleaning both the interior and exterior of all vehicles.

Professional detailing of our pre-owned vehicles to our industry leading standards.

Application of vehicle protection packages, including Paint Protection, Fabric & Leather Protection.

Vehicle buffing, wet-sanding and waxing.

Various other tasks related to the cleaning and detailing of vehicles as well as assisting other activities as needed.

The ideal candidate for this position will :

Experience in automotive detailer is a major asset

Have a valid driver’s license

Strong sense of pride in one's work

Be honest and ethical

Be willing to learn

Be willing to work as part of a team to accomplish all required tasks

Schedule :

Summer Seasonal Position
25-30 hours per week
