AECOM Buildings Places the Architecture team of AECOM are seeking a Specification Writer with knowledge of technical buildings and building science.
This position can be based out of our Burnaby Calgary or Edmonton offices. Candidates based elsewhere will need to adjust their work schedule to align with the Pacific time zone.
AECOM Buildings Places Canada (BP Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture all the buildings engineering disciplines landscape architecture urban planning urban design economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include although not limited to : Transit and Municipal Commercial and Institutional projects Justice Education and Government.
Major Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage specification production workflow procedures master specifications and specification BIM integration.
- Work closely with project managers and consultants to produce project manuals for a variety of projects and sectors. Attend client meetings and advise and discuss project specific requirements.
- Review shop drawing and submittals and provide support for contract
administrators and project managers.
