The company’s primary goal is to responsibly leverage its operating platform and high‑quality brownfield and greenfield exploration pipeline to build a growing value‑driven gold producer.
Summary
In this newly created position (a rare opportunity), the bilingual (English / French) SAP Manager will be responsible for the critical functions of project execution, change management, continuous improvement and ensuring the reliable operation, configuration and governance of the company’s SAP environment.
Under the direction of the Director, Information Technology, this hands‑on role provides systems thinking, business process development and refinement, project management and operational expertise as it manages the day‑to‑day SAP support for two (2) operating mines and the corporate head office. This position also drives SAP‑related enhancements and leads cross‑functional projects in Finance and Plant Maintenance.
This collaborative leadership position also serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT and SAP partners.

You perform best in fluid and changing environments and adapt quickly to the needs of the business. You also have the business acumen and communication skills to build trusting relationships and collaborate with mine sites, corporate teams and senior leaders.

Position Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead, support, and develop a small team of SAP Business Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service excellence.
Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and manage performance to build a high‑performing team.
Oversee the daily operation and stability of our SAP environment, ensuring timely and effective support.
Maintain system governance processes, including change control, documentation, and compliance.
Ensure consistent adoption of standards, quality checks, and best practices across SAP activities.
Engage with Finance, Plant Maintenance, and Operational leaders to understand business needs.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system improvements.
Act as a trusted partner who can challenge assumptions, evaluate impacts, and recommend effective solutions.
Lead the execution of SAP and cross‑functional projects, coordinating resources, schedules, communications, and risks.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business expectations.
Manage operational and project budgets, forecast future needs, and ensure cost‑effective use of resources.
Provide reporting and visibility into financial performance related to SAP operations and projects.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes, workflows, and system usage.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new solutions and enhancements.
Promote a mindset of continuous improvement across SAP and business operations teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in management supporting SAP systems.
Proven track record of managing teams, developing talent, and delivering SAP projects.
Strong understanding of SAP S / 4HANA processes, particularly with Finance and Plant Maintenance modules.
Experience with process modelling tools is a strong asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong asset.
Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
Hands‑on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for operations and projects.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Bilingual English and French language skills (written and verbal) are a strong asset for stakeholder engagement across regions.

Other : Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals. Physical requirements include reading, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, repetitive motions, stooping, balancing, pushing, pulling and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
