Our Montreal-based client is seeking an Intermediate SAP Basis Analyst (SAP ECC & SAP S / 4 HANA) Consultant to join their project starting June 2nd and will run till the end of May 2026 with the possibility of a further extension. This role involves collaboration with AMS providers, stakeholders, and internal teams to support SAP ecosystem health, security, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have extensive technical expertise on SAP ECC and S / 4HANA, excellent communication skills and business acumen. The incumbent will work closely with SAP functional & Business leads, Managed Services partners, clients and managers. This is a hybrid position with the exact amount day's required on-site to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities :

• A minimum of 5-8 years of Basis application support experience with expertise in one or more of the following technical areas : SAP Basis operations, SAP Transport Management, Solution Manager administration, SAP Cloud ALM, etc.
• Very Good understanding of SAP system architecture, components, and configuration.
• Functional and technical experience with the SAP Solution Manager (management and configuration of : CHARM, CSOL, DVM and other workcenters) an asset.
• Perform day-to-day operational SAP Basis activities.
• Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and resolve technical issues to ensure stability.
• Provide recommendations for SAP HANA database dimensioning and performance adjustments.
• Manage transport flows between SAP systems (development, testing, production).
• Participate in planning, testing, and executing SAP software updates and upgrades.
• Analyze and plan SAP security patches, hotfixes, kernel, and HANA upgrades.
• Administer a selection of SAP instances within the ecosystem.
• Manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.
• Configure and optimize monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution.
• Support SOX & security audit reporting activities.
• Maintain Solution Manager managed systems and workcenters.
• Create and maintain clear documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Program Office, Architecture, Development, and Testing teams.
• Conduct knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to enhance in-house Basis expertise.
• French language proficiency would be a strong asset but not mandatory.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
