Job Description

Job Summary : Sales Coordinator

is responsible for leading, managing, and developing all sales & operations aspects of the business as well as supporting the Districts to achieve goals. This includes defining and executing on the approved short & long term vision / strategy across three imperatives : Sales & Profitability Growth, Operational Excellence, Team Leadership & Development

Job Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy : Evaluate purchasing trends and market conditions to develop effective pricing structures and implement strategi
  • Vendor Collaboration : Foster strong relationships with local vendor representatives to secure competitive terms and support ongoing project needs.
  • Credit & Collections : Partner with Credit Managers to manage customer payments, credit reviews, collections, and account adjustments in accordance with company policies.
  • Freight Management : Monitor freight recovery and revenue performance while optimizing related costs.
  • Inventory Oversight : Support the District Manager with stock management and branch visits to uncover process improvement opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track operational indicators using MITS dashboards and reporting tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Sales Enablement : Train teams on estimating workflows, sales techniques, and lead tracking to promote timely customer engagement and conversion.
  • Workflow Optimization : Encourage the consistent use of systems including Salesforce, P21, Workflow, and Connect to standardize processes and enhance productivity.
  • Customer Issue Resolution : Assist with managing escalated complaints, claims, and grievances, ensuring timely and fair outcomes aligned with company guidelines.
  • Branch Training & Mentorship : Deliver product knowledge sessions and support team development to meet sales goals and strengthen customer relations.
  • Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
  • College Diploma or Degree (in Business / Sales / Marketing preferred) and / or 3 or more years of successful Sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Ability to travel
