The Role

Facilities, Maintenance and Operations is seeking a Project Assistant for a summer student term from when the position is filled until Aug 31, 2026. Duties may include:

• Project Assistance Monitoring the daily progress of projects including tacking project costs Enter purchase requisitions for approval and track all project financials Organizing reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access Recording project team meeting minutes and action items Communication with external and internal stakeholders
• Capital Planning & Asset Coordination Communication with Departments on capital asset requests and procedures Preparation of documents and reports for Capital and Space Management Entry of approved budgets into the Evergreen system
• Space Management Assist with functional space planning Review office allocation and space requests Coordinate approved furniture and equipment moves within departments as required including furniture assembly
• Other Duties Other administrative duties as requested by Capital and Space Management for the day-to-day operations of the Facilities – Maintenance and Operations department May cover duties of the Administrative Assistant for the Facilities – Maintenance and Operations department

This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Hourly rate is $21.
