Senior Manager of Retail Portfolio Operations

Interested in joining one of Canadas top performing asset managers We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Manager to join our Investment Resource Group. This position reports to the Director Investment Resource Group. The Senior Manager of Retail Portfolio Operations will work alongside a team of senior financial operations professionals to support the operation of CC&Ls wealth management and private market affiliates.

What You Will Do

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a team of professionals providing trade support billing reporting unitholder recordkeeping services for our retail and private client affiliates.
• Ensure that operational processes and technology platforms are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Manage day-to-day operational challenges including handling inquiries from wealth advisors client service teams compliance and other departments.
• Coordinate servicing with custodial banks and other service providers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflows technology platforms and data management.
• Partner with IS teams and vendors to resolve system-related roadblocks that impact operations.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies in operational processes and systems implementing changes to streamline workflows reduce pain points and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with the IS teams on system updates enhancements and provide users with ongoing support for day-to-day usage.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for operational processes and technology tools.
• Manage escalated issues from internal teams and clients ensuring timely resolution and clear communication of status updates.
• Contribute to key business initiatives such as system upgrades process reengineering and operational transformations.
