Our client, a distributor of high end womenswear, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage and grow a portfolio of retail accounts, handle product
samples, set up showrooms, implement merchandising strategies, and support their agent network. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach and a strong understanding of the wholesale fashion industry.
Responsibilities :
Sales & Account Management
- Build and maintain relationships with existing retail clients, ensuring their needs are
- Identify and onboard new retail partners by going on the road to expand our clients
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and grow revenue.
- Handle repeat orders efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely process
- Receive and organize product samples, ensuring they are properly catalogued and
- Set up and maintain showrooms to showcase collections, creating visually appealing
- Collaborate with the team to design and execute effective merchandising strategies
- Assist in preparing and presenting collections during buying seasons or trade
- Ensure all samples and showroom spaces are maintained in excellent condition,
- Work closely with agents to support their sales efforts and provide them with the
- Ensure agents have up-to-date product information, pricing, and promotional
- Address agent inquiries promptly and provide solutions to challenges they may face.
- Coordinate with agents to align on sales strategies and goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to
- Review client and agent sales data regularly to recommend product repeats and
- Experience : Minimum of 7 years in a sales capacity in the women’s fashion
- Portfolio of clients selling to our clients target market
- A valid driver’s license and access to a car for travel.
- Language Skills : Bilingual in English (professional) and French (Native);
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM tools are a bonus
- Travel Requirements : Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client visits
- Other Skills : Strong understanding of fashion retail, including trends,
