Position Overview :
As our Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing assigned commodities and services to required specifications, ensuring the best overall value through cost, quality, and on-time delivery. You will work with qualified suppliers to maximize return on procurement spend while adhering to ethical purchasing standards and company policies. Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, this role operates without direct reports and supports effective supply chain performance across the organization.

Your Day to Day as our Buyer :
- Source and purchase assigned commodities and services, obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers, identifying new vendors and strategic procurement opportunities.
- Ensure on-time delivery by reviewing requisitions, coordinating lead times, and managing shipments.
- Support proposal cost estimates and review supplier bids for accurate selection.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and value analysis for assigned commodities.
- Participate in supplier meetings, manage contract administration, and support quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, external regulations, and industry guidelines.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $76,000 and $118,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
