We are a growth orientated company with our head office located in Toronto, Ontario and property operations in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
We are currently seeking a Site Trainer to join our team.
The Trainer is responsible for delivering the MetCap training programs for resident managers, maintenance staff, and other on-site personnel.
This role ensures site staff are knowledgeable, compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Responsibilities : Training & Development
- Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for resident managers and site staff
- Train staff on company policies, operational procedures, and best practices
- Conduct in-person, virtual, and on-site training sessions
- Develop training materials, manuals, presentations, job aids, and e-learning content
- Customize training based on property type, staff experience level, and operational needs Operations & Compliance Training
- Train staff on local regulations and company compliance standards
- Provide instruction on leasing processes, tenant relations, rent collection, and delinquency management
- Train on maintenance coordination, work order systems, and safety procedures
- Reinforce documentation standards, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness Customer Service & Leadership Development
- Train resident managers on leadership, communication and conflict resolution
- Coach site staff on resident relations, service excellence, and professionalism Systems & Technology
- Train staff on property management software, reporting tools, and internal systems
- Support adoption of new technologies and operational changes Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with operations, HR, and leadership teams to align training with company goals
- Maintain training records, attendance logs, and certification tracking
- Assist with updating standard operating procedures and training documentation Qualifications
- Experience in property management an asset
- Competent learning new programs and sharing knowledge
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring on-site staff
- Strong knowledge of property management operations and resident services
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Property Vista, etc.)
