AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Conducting interviews – co-conducting interviews in multiple languages (see required qualifications)
Transcribing interviews
Conducting archival research (Montreal and online)
Creating annotated bibliographies and literature reviews
Using N-Vivo to organize data and produce analysis
Editing interviews and creating a podcast
Contributing to grant writing (SSRHC and other)
Other tasks related to the research project and determined by Dr. Romulus will be completed
Qualifications:
Graduate Student
Full proficiency in English and French
Working knowledge of Creole
Familiarity with Black and Afro-feminisms, Haitian feminisms, Transitional Justice and Abolitionism.
Experience in conducting interviews
Experience in transcribing interviews
Experience in independent archival research
Experience in creating annotated bibliographies and literature reviews
Experience with N-Vivo
Experience with editing interviews and creating podcasts
Experience in grant writing (SSRHC and other)
Other tasks related to the research project will be completed
