About the Opportunity
The Research Associate contributes to a particular research study or division by assisting with study administration and by preparing research proposal drafts and associated budgets, undertaking literature reviews, searching for funding opportunities, preparing grant submissions, drafting reports and manuscripts, and providing leadership and delegating to Research Assistants as necessary.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following :
- Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences or social sciences discipline (e.g. psychology, epidemiology, community / public health, biostatistics, health information management or health economics)
- CCRP or CCRA an asset
- Medical Terminology course preferred
- Current registration with the relevant professional healthcare licensing organization desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, email and internet
- Proficiency in qualitative analysis software package an asset
- Proficiency in reference manager program (ProCite) an asset
- Familiarity with health records
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong report writing skills
- Effective interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Effective research and analytical thinking skills
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Minimum of two years research experience

Compensation and Benefits
28.60 - $35.75 hourly
55,762 - $69,702 annually
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
