City Furniture is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Prince Rupert, BC. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and providing excellent customer service, we'd like to hear from you.
In this role, you'll help keep our warehouse organized while ensuring furniture and appliances are delivered safely and professionally to our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with delivery, warehouse, moving, logistics, or material handling experience who is looking for stable, full-time work.

Pay & Benefits:

• $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What You'll Do:
Delivery Responsibilities:

• Load, secure, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customers.
• Verify orders before departure and upon delivery.
• Assist with placement of products at customer locations.
• Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Follow delivery schedules and assigned routes.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming shipments.
• Prepare merchandise for customer pickup and delivery.
• Assist with inventory counts and product tracking.
• Restock showroom inventory as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if applicable).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support daily warehouse operations and team objectives.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License (non-GDL).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture and appliances.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic English communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in furniture delivery.
• Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, shipping and receiving, or material handling.
• Experience operating a 1-ton truck.
• Forklift or warehouse equipment experience.

Candidates with related experience are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.
