Health Support Worker / Rehabilitation Assistant – Hamilton Service

ABI Rehabilitation is a leading provider in brain injury rehabilitation. We hold CARF accreditation, an international gold standard in person centered rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Your main role is to provide support to adults with traumatic brain injuries by creating a safe environment and supporting them with their goals. This includes varied household tasks, encouraging engagement in meaningful activities to help achieve maximum independence and championing best practice. As our services operate 24 / 7, hours of work include day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts rostered Monday–Sunday.

Qualifications

• Experience in intensive brain injury rehabilitation.
• Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Qualification (or equivalent) or higher.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Can-do attitude and demonstrate strong personal and professional boundaries.
• Flexibility and willingness to work rostered shifts.
• Strong communication skills.

Benefits
