Operations Manager – Building Materials

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of receiving, storing, and shipping products. You’ll be responsible for effective inventory management, maintaining safety standards, and supporting internal teams to ensure reliable service for customers and other branches across the Canadian division.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee inventory management : monitor levels, manage shortages and overstock, conduct cycle counts.
• Coordinate the receipt, picking, and shipment of orders according to shipment expectations.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales and purchasing) to meet operational needs.
• Track and assess transport and vendor-related expenses. Will also be responsible for ordering branch supplies from various vendors.
• Train and supervise staff on warehousing and handling best practices.
