Job descriptionPost secondary education in related field coupled with Refrigeration License (HVAC) Minimum five (5) yrs. experience in a related field Gas Fitter level One (Asset) Gas Fitter level Two (Mandatory) Valid Ontario driver’s license Past experience in a diverse and comparable environment Strong communication skills both written and oral Strong mechanical aptitude Proven skills with food service equipment installation and repairs Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required Proven abilities to problem solve, trouble shoot and work with deadlines Ownership of tools and safety boots a must Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions Required to meet the physical demands of the job including; weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling and ability to work with ladders
Overview : 43.50 / hr
Hiring Licensed Refrigeration (Mandatory) and Gas One / Two Technician to join our Full-Time permanent team.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with installation of new equipment
- Assist with rebuild and / or repair of equipment as specified
- Maintain all required service records and logs
- Make recommendations for improvements, modification, upgrades and report findings to Supervisor on a timely basis
- Assist with major overhauls, modifications and alterations as required
- Ensure the safe operation of each work area and each work project
- Assist with general cleaning, inspection and reassemble equipment as needed
- Responsible for execution of preventative maintenance program
- Assist with seasonal staff as required
