Job descriptionMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with CRM is a must. Proficiency in Crystal Reports is necessary. Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques is desirable. Familiarity with various Accounting Functions is required. Experience in Accrual Accounting is essential. Ability to handle Capital Management tasks effectively. Experience with Month End Close processes is required. Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is needed. Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation is a must. Familiarity with Bank Account Reconciliation processes is required. Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately. Proficiency in SAP is necessary. All applicants applying for Canadian job openings must be authorized to work in Canada.
We are offering contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the Utilities / Infrastructure industry located in Markham, Ontario. As a Financial Analyst, you will be at the heart of our operations, working on various accounting tasks and managing customer applications. You will also play a pivotal role in maintaining customer records and handling inquiries.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently process customer credit applications
- Preserve accurate customer credit records
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales teams
- Work in a technical accounting environment, dealing with debits and credits
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end procedures
- Handle bank account reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Work through manual Journal Entries
- Utilize accounting software systems and CRM for data management
- Apply data mining techniques and use Crystal Reports for data analysis
- Manage capital and perform accrual accounting functions
- Use Excel for data management, including V look ups and pivot tables.
