Overview
Graduate Landscape Designer
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Landscape Designer to join our team. This position will work in a collaborative and integrated team of professionals that include landscape architects, civil engineers, planners, surveyors, environmental scientists, and transportation engineers. The primary responsibilities for the Landscape Designer include design / graphic production and technical document creation for deliverables related to the planning and landscape architecture service. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn and implement illustration, design and CAD standards established for the group and be accountable for their proper implementation.
- Build increasing skills in review and interpretation of regulatory codes, ordinances, and comprehensive plans.
- Review and analyze land features relating to opportunities and constraints for development.
- Visit pre-development sites to conduct tree surveys and site analysis used in the design process.
- Develop and refine a design methodology that results in creative, sound solutions to a given problem.
- Build increasing skills in preparing hard-scape, grading, planting and irrigation graphics, plans and illustrations using both digital and hand drawn formats.
- Begin to participate in project meetings with staff, clients, & regulatory agencies.
- Consult with product manufacturers to research, evaluate and select construction materials.
- Begin visiting construction sites to gather information and support senior project team members during the construction phase.

Minimum : USD $60,000.00 / Yr.
Maximum : USD $85,000.00 / Yr.
