Job Description
ADGA is hiring a full-time Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist with over 10 years of experience working with Satellite and Radio Frequency Systems.
Job Requirements : Qualifications
The Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist must meet the following mandatory requirements :
- Education - The Senior Radio Frequency Systems must have one of the following :
An Engineering or Science degree from a recognized Canadian University; or a non-Canadian Engineering or Science degree that must be accredited by one of the following institutions. Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC);World Education Services (WES); or University of Toronto Comparative Education Services.
A diploma or certificate, minimum two years from a recognized college in an Information Management / Information Technology (IM / IT) field;
Licensed as a Professional Engineer by any Professional Engineering self-regulatory bodies within the provinces of Canada.
The Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist must have a minimum of ten years within the last twenty years of experience as a Radio Frequency Systems Specialist.
The Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist must have a minimum of five years within the last ten years of experience in writing Project Technical Documentation (e.g. Statement of Work, Statement of Requirements, technical specifications) for IM / IT projects valued at $5M or more.
The Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist must have a minimum of five years of experience within the last ten years performing engineering design, system integration, test or analysis and systems design and development.
The Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist must have a minimum of five years of experience within the last ten years performing at least one of the following :
Maintenance, repairs, and support upgrades to one or more of the following radio frequency systems and / or subsystems :
Low Frequency (LF) system,
Medium Frequency (MF) system,
High Frequency (HF) system,
Very High Frequency (VHF) system and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) system;
Verification and validation testing with RF laboratory test equipment with one or more of the following satellite tests :
Satellite / platform assembly integration and test, Satellite / platform testing, In-orbit Test, DC & RF harness design, platform and payload layout; or
RF circuitry layout, construction, troubleshooting, calibration and design.
The Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist must have a minimum of five years of experience within the last ten years with satellite systems; testing RF systems and resolving problems.
