About the Client
Our client is sourcing a Metals Research Market Trade Analyst to join their team.
About the Opportunity
- Market Research and Analysis : Perform marketing research for new and / or improved opportunities for sales and marketing
Researching the market
Evaluating opportunities
Managing the interactions and accounts
Evaluate potential new customers for capability and logistics feasibility
Perform market analysis
Assist in the arrangement and facilitation of visits to customers
Research and compile and sections of various reports
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Geology, Engineering, Commercial or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
3+ years of experience in metals research, commodity analysis, or financial analysis within the metals / mining industry or a financial institution
Or working experience as an engineer or geologist within mining or the oil and gas industry. Mining & international experience a plus
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high proficiency in data interpretation and trend analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis tools, and familiarity with financial modeling; experience with software like Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, or similar databases is advantageous
