Job description
Cella by Randstad Digital is partnering with an established, rapidly growing multi-brand development firm to recruit a talented mid-level Web Designer. Our client specializes in transforming infrastructure and expanding into hospitality, housing, and diverse business ventures.

In this newly created role, you will own the digital experience across a diverse portfolio of brands—ranging from corporate, industrial platforms requiring high technical credibility to warm, consumer-facing hospitality projects. Working within a collaborative, small, and fast-moving creative team, you will bridge the gap between design and development to execute top-tier responsive websites.

This is a full-time position based in Stratford, Ontario featuring a collaborative hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office with added flexibility for remote work during winter months). Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end web design process, from initial UX planning and layout wireframes to final, polished visual designs.
Design responsive, highly engaging, and on-brand web experiences across a varied portfolio of corporate and consumer ventures.
Translate existing brand guidelines into complete web layouts while adapting style, tone, and visual aesthetic appropriately for different audiences.
Collaborate closely with internal creative teams, leadership, and external development partners to ensure precise execution.
Support continuous platform growth by developing landing pages, refreshing existing sites, and assisting with site migrations or hosting transitions.
Maintain and update internal design systems to ensure consistency across all digital properties.
Apply SEO and web accessibility fundamentals throughout the design lifecycle

Qualifications
Professional Experience: 4+ years of dedicated web design experience, preferably with a background in an agency setting or an environment handling multiple concurrent brands.
Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar).
Strong Portfolio: A varied portfolio demonstrating clean aesthetics, UX/UI strategy, and an ability to design responsively for distinct target markets.
Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with Webflow or similar no-code visual development platforms to facilitate seamless collaboration with external implementation partners.
Core Competencies: A proactive self-starter mindset with excellent communication skills, agile work habits, and a deep passion for high-quality creative work.

Bonus Skills: Basic working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS for developer handoffs, or experience designing interactive micro-animations and CMS structures is a plus
